Increasing exports of US gas and oil increase demand and support prices
As detailed in the FT, the current US adminstration is actively supporting a significant increase in export of US produced gas and oil.
The consequence of this will be more demand for domestic production and, particularly in gas, convergence between current low US domestic gas prices and the higher gas prices everywhere else in the world.
